It appears that we are running into apocalyptic SF stories everywhere lately. I read a review about the new Tim Burton animated movie 9, now in theaters, and it looks pretty interesting. It already has 7.3 out of 10 stars on IMDB. Has anyone had a chance to go see this movie yet?
I haven't seen it, but the general consensus among my friends who have seems to be that it's a beautiful film with a very interesting premise, but the plot is rather poorly realized.
ReplyDeleteYes. I saw this movie last weekend. And I really liked it. And it also surprisingly has a strong moral, usually tim burton does not include such morals. But it fits and is very appropriate. This movie gets an A in my book.
ReplyDeleteAnd as far as plot being poorly realized... Maybe a little, but not much. I thought it was pretty well done for what it was aiming to do.
I plan on seeing the movie when I get the chance. I've been pretty excited for it ever since I saw the trailer. I'll give yall my review when I see it
ReplyDeleteThe trailer made it look pretty awesome. Robot-fighting dolls in a post-apocalyptic world is something that I think i could get into pretty easily. I'm broke as hell, but i'm gonna try to see a matinee this week.
